- Braised Pork with Preserved Mustard Greens 梅菜扣肉 (UK)

This is the most authentic and genuinely traditional Taiwanese food I’ve had in the UK.
It instantly brought back the taste of home…
On top of that, they provide excellent after-sales service—when I encountered an issue with my order, they actively and patiently helped me resolve it.
I’m truly grateful to this restaurant for helping me rediscover the warmth and human touch that I’ve long missed from Taiwan.

Out of the regular dishes I ordered in the last four years from Taiwanese Food, this is my family's favourite dish. I have Hakka DNA, so the pickled mustard leaves tastes like my mum's cooking. I would usually lay some frozen taro pieces,which I ordered online, on the plate before putting the braised pork belly on top. It really enhanced the dish, we couldn't have enough of it!!

Highly recommended!!

Braised pork is tender, but mustard greens are a bit salty, maybe soaking them in water before adding them to the braised pork would help.
